Mindset as a product designer
‍My background in art and economics shapes the way I practice product design:
I see creativity as a search for an optimal merger of functionality and aesthetics, rather than the individual expression of oneself. As a hybrid, I specialize in delivering beautiful designs balancing business outcome as well as use needs.

In my spare time
‍The passion for human forms and emotions has always been at my heart.
Whether by reading books about human anatomy, researching frameworks of interpreting the canvas through a lens of gender, practicing with different mediums or hosting drink and draw session with friends, I grasp every opportunity to capture the beauty of the human form and emotion from the way that I see it. I feel extremely lucky to have benefited from the wisdom of many kind and inspiring souls in the design industry along my journey of product design, which motivated me to become a mentor myself for the UX internship program at the University of Michigan.
